The inspiration for this design came from an ornately embroidered C16th century fabric in the Victoria and Albert Museum. " My inspiration came (once again) from the Victoria and Albert Museum which always stimulates me. I stand there among the wealth of treasures in awe and come away with the desire to create wonderful things ".
